The Commerce and Accounts curriculum, aligned with the CISCE framework and NEP 2020, offers a strong foundation in core subjects like Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, and Commerce. It emphasizes conceptual clarity, analytical thinking, and practical application through topics such as financial accounting, business environment, management principles, entrepreneurship, and economic development. The curriculum integrates project work, case studies, and ICT tools to enhance real-world understanding and prepare students for higher education and professional careers.

The department adopts innovative practices such as project-based learning, enabling students to explore real-life business scenarios and develop problem-solving skills. Smart classrooms enhance interactive learning through digital tools, simulations, and multimedia content. An interdisciplinary approach integrates concepts from economics, mathematics, and technology, fostering a deeper understanding of commerce in a broader context and promoting critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity among students.

Our Commerce and Accounts department comprises a team of dedicated, qualified, and collaborative educators who bring rich academic expertise and practical experience to the classroom. With expertise in subjects like Accounting, Economics, Commerce and Business Studies our team is committed to providing high quality education and guidance to help students achieve their academic and professional goals.

Our department regularly participates in specialized training programs and workshops on emerging trends in commerce, digital accounting tools, financial literacy, and NEP 2020 implementation. Our faculty members have demonstrated their commitment to excellence by actively participating in various Commerce and Accounts training workshops and seminars conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations(CISCE).This engagement has enabled them to stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in Accounts and Commerce education. Furthermore, our faculty members have been entrusted with key responsibilities, including Supervising Examiners to ensure the smooth conduct of ISC and ICSE Examinations. Also they have been appointed as Evaluators, responsible for checking the answer scripts during the board exams. These appointments reflect the trust and confidence that CISCE has placed in our faculty members, highlighting their expertise and dedication to the education sector. These initiatives have enhanced teaching effectiveness, integrated industry-relevant skills into the curriculum, and contributed to improved student performance and career readiness.

The department has consistently achieved excellent academic results, with students securing top ranks in board examinations and competitive commerce-based entrance tests. Our students actively participate

and excel in commerce olympiads, business quizzes, and financial literacy competitions. They also showcase their creativity and entrepreneurial ideas through exhibitions and project fairs, reflecting their deep understanding and innovative approach towards commerce and accountancy.
